Current Practice
Ms. Seeley practices exclusively in the area of family law. She has significant experience in matters pertaining to divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, paternity, business valuation, complex property division, and high-net-worth clients. Ms. Seeley handles international child custody cases involving the Hague Convention.
Background
H. Yvonne Seeley brings almost thirty years of civil litigation experience to the representation of the firm's clients. She has extensive experience as lead counsel in jury trials, bench trials, and appeals. Her family law cases of note include the litigation of a child custody / international move-away matter. In addition, she has appeared before the First District Court of Appeal in San Francisco in cases involving child custody and division of property issues.
Ms. Seeley graduated from San Francisco Law School with a Juris Doctor in 1980. In 2002, she graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University with a Masters in Science in Business Management. Ms. Seeley has received training in mediation and collaborative law.
Distinctions
The California Consumer Attorneys of California presented Ms. Seeley with an award honoring her as a California Women Leader in 2007. In 2002, Ms. Seeley was elected as President of the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association. In addition, Ms. Seeley served as an officer and board member of the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association for ten years. On several occasions, Ms. Seeley has been invited to speak at seminars for the San Mateo County Bar Association and the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association.
